The pieces are not upside down. The board is not upside down. The squares are not upside down. Ever.
If you want to play chess where your real-life opponent has to look at the pieces upside down... get any other chess app.
Here are the many not-features:
- Does not play chess. (you'll need another human for that)
- Does not reset the pieces for you. (just like... a real chessboard)
- Does not teach you chess.
- Does not stop you from making illegal moves.
- Does not time your play.
- Does not feature animations of chess pieces eating each other.
